Magic: The Gathering - Commander 2019

Commander is a popular format of play for Magic. Designed for players without the time or resources to build their own deck, these decks are built and ready to play right out of the box.
My largest creative lift for this box design was in the creation of a set texture in four colors, once for each deck color. The texture I came up with evokes the excitement and magical energy of this game.

Deckboxes
Paper deck boxes exist inside, and can be seen "peaking" through the window on the front behind the card on the front of the packaging.
These were another opportunity to showcase a more subtle form of the texture I developed, leaving the louder form for the outer packaging.
