Magic: the Gathering - Dragon's Maze
Prerelease Gameboard Poster
In the story of Dragon's Maze, there is a race through the wild and complex city of Ravnica. This map was created by me to create added excitement at the prerelease for the set by having player's choose their guild and being part of the "race". Every game won advanced their chosen guild, and all guild members got a special prize if they collectively won.
The design challenge was in taking a fairly simple and boring game board, with only 13 spaces, and make it feel like it had more depth, trying to emulate the chaotic race path throughout the city.
