Magic: The Gathering - March of the Machine: The Aftermath
Art Director - Mike Vaillancourt
ARTIST - Boneface
March of the Machine: The Aftermath was a small set that was released right after the apocalyptic events in the March of the Machine set. The set took on a gritty comic book vibe, a more urban look than most Magic sets.
Collector Booster Display Box
This box acts as the container and pop-up display for Collector Boosters. Because the Collector Booster is a premium item, the box was printed on foil board with white ink below the color inks to create a more dynamic on shelf presence.

Collector Booster Flow Wrap
This flow wrap is wrapping and sealing in 15 Magic cards, keeping them protected and random contents secret. Because the base material is a metalized mirror-like plastic, it allows for a dynamic design by printing white ink on the mirror under the color inks.

Omega Box
To discourage theft of premium Collector Booster s at large retail stores, a single booster is sold in a large box, called the Omega Box. To leverage this shelf presence, the box uses premium cold foil printing to create an eye catching presentation.

Packaging Suite
Working as a team with fellow graphic designer Trevor Giove, the collector product was designed as a premium companion to the "Epilogue Boosters".
