Katana and Throwing Star Papercraft

Kamigawa Neon Dynasty is a fictional world in the Magic multiverse inspired by Japanese culture and mythology.
My creative challenge was in coming up with fun papercraft models inspired by the set. We ended up going with a magical katana and throwing star, loosely based off of the reference art seen below. We also wanted this to be a user accessible as possible, so no outside parts, tape or glue was required, just scissors and a printer.

Retractable Blades
To mimic the magical nature of the blades, they can "retract", folding inside the base of the star for hidden storage.
